Between the 10 April to 14 June 2024, we consulted on proposals to increase our fees.

This report provides an assessment of concerns raised with us about the health and care professionals we regulate, which related to sexual misconduct and criminal matters or conduct of a sexual nature.

We are calling on employers, managers, education providers, professional bodies and unions to prevent these behaviours from happening, and to encourage greater reporting when they do. As a regulator of 15 different professions, the HCPC has a role to play too.

Ahead of the revised standards of conduct, performance and ethics coming into effect, HCPC Policy colleagues outline the key areas that employers, managers and leaders of registrants may wish to focus on.

Today the revised HCPC standards of conduct, performance and ethics, and guidance on social media which sits alongside the standards, come into effect. It is now every registrant’s responsibility to be familiar with the changes and meet the revised standards.
