Learning materials: Being open when things go wrong

In 2022 we launched our first ever student competition. We asked students to create a learning session for their fellow students which explored the principles and challenges of being open when things go wrong. 

The below entires can be used as learning materials.

2022's winning entry

Congratulations to Vicky Marriott from Newcastle University for winning our first ever HCPC student competition!

Vicky, a MSc Language Pathology student, created a video, presentation and script that can be used by fellow students, exploring the principles and challenges of being open when things go wrong. 


2022's runners-up

We had two runners-up in this year's competition. They were:

  • Rhiannon Bullen from the University of Surrey
  • Nikki Godridge from Birmingham City University

Rhiannon, a BSc (Hons) Nutrition/Dietetics student, produced a video and presentation.

 



Nikki, a BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography student, created a presentation and learning session plan.
