Also known as a certificate of current professional status or letter of good standing
Through your online account, you can request a confirmation of your current registration status. This is also known as a certificate of current professional status (CCPS) or letter of good standing. You may require this if you're applying for a job or registration in a country outside the UK.
The confirmation is a single page PDF document which contains your personal details, current registration status and registration record (including any practice restrictions in place on the date of issue).
The document can be downloaded by all current registrants and past registrants. It is not editable.
How to request the confirmation document
- Navigate to the homepage of your online account
- In the 'Available downloads' section, click 'Click here to view'
- Select your registration number from the dropdown and, under 'Confirmation of current registration status', click 'Download registration status'
The PDF will be generated and downloaded to your device.
You can request that your confirmation of registration status is provided in Welsh. To do this, please write to registration@hcpc-uk.org with your registration number, address and date of birth.
The details are accurate only of the document's date of the issue. The best way to check registration status is on our online Register, which is updated every day.
Other available downloads
Through your online account, you can also download a general payment receipt. This lists the payments you have made to the HCPC since October 2020 and can be helpful when providing documentation of a payment.
