We required that all education providers embedded our revised standards of proficiency (SOPs) from September 2023. We have assessed education provider alignment with the SOPs, and have considered common practices and challenges with this alignment.

The standards of proficiency that speech and language therapists must meet in order to join, and remain on, the HCPC Register. 

This section lists the outcomes of the audits for the professions who were asked to submit their CPD profile in 2021 for the previous two-year renewal cycle.

The way we communicate is continually evolving and our standards need to reflect this.
