Consultation on our standards for prescribing

We are consulting on changes to our standards for prescribing until Friday 4 January 2019 and we are keen to hear your views

Deciding whether learners are fit to practise

Our standards of education and training require you to ensure only those that complete programmes are fit to practise. Therefore, you must not qualify an individual that you would not be confident becoming a registrant.

HCPC statement on guidance on health and character and suicidal ideation

Our priority is ensuring that registrants have access to advice and support, so that they can get the help they need and ensure they are able to continue to practise safely, without fear of the impact on their registration. To support this, we have produced online materials aimed at registrants and updated our guidance on health and character to include more illustrative case studies.

The HCPC launches search for 2025 Council Apprentices

Today we've opened the recruitment process for our next Council Apprentices

Meet a Partner - Dr Emmanuel Babafemi

Dr Babafemi is an HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist and Lead Visitor here at the HCPC.

New and updated Partner policies

We regularly review our policies to ensure that they are fit for purpose.

Partner Compliance training

We have developed an eLearning module which combines a refresher on EDI and includes aspects of unconscious bias and sexual harassment. In addition, all partners have to receive training on information security as they deal with information on behalf of the HCPC.
