Early Direct Debit collections
It appears that due to a system error the usual direct debit collection for radiographers, orthoptists and paramedics has been claimed a week early. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may have caused.
Partner Compliance training
We have developed an eLearning module which combines a refresher on EDI and includes aspects of unconscious bias and sexual harassment. In addition, all partners have to receive training on information security as they deal with information on behalf of the HCPC.

Revisions to our Standards of Proficiency- what you need to do
The HCPC’s Standards of Proficiency set out the technical requirements and competencies – the proficiencies – that all registrants are required to be able to demonstrate on entry to their profession. All approved education programmes must ensure graduates can meet these standards for their profession. The revised sets of Standards of Proficiency must be delivered to all new cohorts starting from 1 September 2023.

Mary Hannon-Fletcher is a Professor of Biomedical Sciences at Ulster University. She is also an HCPC Panel Member and Lead Visitor.
HCPC statement on guidance on health and character and suicidal ideation
Our priority is ensuring that registrants have access to advice and support, so that they can get the help they need and ensure they are able to continue to practise safely, without fear of the impact on their registration. PSA review highlights significant progress made by the HCPC
The Professional Standards Authority (PSA) has today published its annual performance review of the HCPC. The HCPC has met 16 of the 18 Standards of Good Regulation, regaining two fitness to practise (FTP) standards and one standard linked to registration.
