Helen White

Helen White is a therapeutic radiographer by registered profession and is currently Associate Professor and Lead for Practice and Accreditation at Birmingham City University.

Helen is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has just stepped down as Chair to the Heads of Radiography Education where she was Chair for seven years. She is a member of the College of Radiographers Radiotherapy Advisory Group and has been an assessor for the College of Radiographers for many years. She has led several national projects, including (on behalf of the College of Radiographers, funded by NHS England) preceptorship scoping in diagnostic and therapeutic radiography, as well as previously the development of best practice guidance in pre-preceptorship for allied health professionals for NHS England.

Helen loves working in higher education, supporting student-learners and working with practice partners and employers to develop the workforce of the future.
